Cerf Island

As one of the nearest island to the mainland, Cerf is extremely popular with Seychellois families in the weekends, year-round. Locals gather here to enjoy the day. Perhaps one of the most famous family getaway in the Seychelles.
Located 4km off the northeast of Mahe, it can take as little as six minutes to reach, offering day-trippers a delightful break from the hustle and bustle of life on Mahe.
Ringed with beautiful sandy beaches and clear water. Here, you’ll also find some great spots for snorkelling and diving. Being in the National Marine Park, coral reefs surrounds and provide shelter for a wide variety of marine life, .
There are no paved roads or local infrastructure on the island; travel to-and-from the island is by boat and by helicopter. Access is not a problem as speedboats and catamarans ply the route on a regular basis from Mahe.
